3RD JUNE 2016 – EARLY MORNING DIVE TURNS INTO JETTY CLEAN UP
Andrew, Bryce and Lindsay decided to get out early and before the big blow for an easy dive from the Coffs Harbour Jetty, it eventuated into a small clean up of the rubbish under the jetty!!! The boys found lots of different bits and pieces including Iphones, cups, fishing rods, 4 pairs of sunglasses, knives, plastic bags and balls of fishing line.
This is a very strong sign for people to please but their rubbish in the bins and look after our waters.

11TH JUNE 2016 – TURTLES AND LIONFISH EVERYWHERE AT SOUTH SOLITARY ISLAND
Well after 19 days out of the water we finally made it out to South Solitary Island!! Although the visibility was nothing flash our divers still had a good time. There were lots of Turtles, Lionfish, Blue Gropers and Tarwhine, Grey Nurse Sharks even the odd Wobbygong getting face to face with some divers.
Congratulations to Alonso who completed his last dive today of his Advanced Open Water Course.
Today’s photo was taken by Brian Nilsson, here we have two Red Rock Cods having a disagreement over something… maybe lunch?? Brilliant shot Brian keep it up.
We also have a Southerly blow due tomorrow so fingers crossed this brings in some blue water for the coming week.

18TH JUNE 2016 – WHALES HARASS DIVE BOAT!
Great to see blue water back at South Solitary Island today! Sheltered from the northerly breeze, we hopped in at Buchanan’s Wall for our first dive of the day. Black Cod, Lionfish, Pipefish and some cool nudi’s were just some of the highlights.
Taking advantage of the slight current, dive two was a drift from Shark Gutters to the Gantry. Our divers counted a dozen Grey Nurse in the Cleaner Station plus two Eagle Rays and a Giant Cuttlefish on the Boulder Wall.
After surfacing from the second dive, “Wildfin” was approached by two Humpback Whales whilst we were still on the mooring. The pair were extremely curious of us, circling the boat on at least three occasions. Once in a lifetime experience!

20TH JUNE 2016 – BOAT GETS SEAL OF APPROVAL
Look at a little NZ fur seal that has made our boat float his home today. Poor little fella has been wounded and resting after an ordeal with the weather. Hopefully he will be OK. We will be watching out for him.
Sea is settling down and we should be diving this Wednesday and Thursday, hopefully! The weekend forecast is not looking that good, hope it changes.
