17th July 2024 – Jump Baby!!

We had our 9am and 11am Whale Watching trip get some exciting encounters today!!
On the 9am we caught up with a “Heat Run” heading south, this is when a number of male humpbacks chase/fight/compete for a female and it can be very full on! We spent the full 1 hour and 30min trip with them.

The 11am started of a bit slow but we were then treated with a rare sighting of a Dwarf Minkie Whale and her very small baby!!! Following that we finished the day with a baby Humpback jumping for joy.
