28th June 2018 – Fantastic Vis At South Solitary
After a nice boat ride out to South Solitary Island it was decided dive one would be at Shark Gutters. Vis was at least 30 meters, heaps of fish life and Sharks everywhere! Our Divers even spotted a big Green Turtle who was having a nap in the Cleaner Station Cave.
After a pleasant surface interval we jumped in at Shark Gutters and drifted around to South Boulder. 30 Grey Nurse Sharks were spotted around the sanctuary marker! Lots of schooling fish, Turtles, Black Cod and a Giant Cuttlefish were all spotted on the Boulder Wall. Conditions for Saturday look great, only a few spots left!
Congratulations to Deb on finishing her Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
Vis 30 meters, water Temp 21 degrees.
