16th December 2024-Turtle Time
We had a mix of dirty and not so dirty visbility today, however, that didn’t stop the divers seeing a massive amount of fish-life. Dive 1 was in a bit of current at Shark Gutters with Grey Nurse sharks cruising around the shallow gutters. We were in search of the tail roped shark to help SeaWorld remove the rope, but unfortunately we could not find it.
Dive two was turtle time at the Gap with turtles swimming around with the divers. A much easier dive and visibility picked up to around 8 mtrs. It appeared the visibility had signs of improving as we were leaving the island.
Visibility; 5-8 metres
Water Temp; 18 in the poor vis and 22c in cleaner water
