The Aqualung AquaFlex Hooded Vest is a popular accessory to provide additional warmth to any of our wetsuits. Made with various thicknesses of super-stretch neoprene, Aquaflex hooded vests provide maximum insulation in high heat-loss areas, while making the vest easy to don and doff.
Large amounts of heat can be lost from the torso while in the water. This is why wearing a vest can make a huge difference in your warmth while diving.
The Aqualung Aquaflex Hooded Vest is made in 6/5/3mm neoprene. The hood is made from 6mm super-stretch neoprene, with a 4mm skin-in-face seal which is designed to be easily trimmed. The front and back panels of the vest are 5mm neoprene, with 3mm panels on the side for increased stretch and fit. These stretch panels allow for easy donning and doffing of the vest.
The hood also features a bubble vent. This allows any trapped exhaust bubbles to escape the hood, maintaining comfort throughout the dive.
