Description
The X-Adventurer M2500 Video Light is an amazing Smart Focus video light, boasting 2500lumens of light, at 100° emission angle. It’s rated to 100m IPX8 (JIS Protection Class 8).
The M2500 is easily operated even one handed, with the two push control buttons. Just press and hold both buttons to turn it on, and use each individual button to cycle through modes and options.
The push button also indicates battery remaining on the torch with colour co-ordination, assisting you in time management of your videography and photography. Blue light is 100% to 80% battery, green is 80% to 30%, red is 10% to 5%, and flashing red is less than 5% battery remaining.
The light is compact and lightweight, weighing only 280g (190g underwater!), and with dimensions of 20.5 x 125mm. It’s made from anticorrosive aluminium alloy.
The M2500 uses a rechargable Li-ion battery, 3.7V 5000mAh. It’s depth rated to 100m , IPX8 (JIS Protection Class 8).
Light Modes
The X-Adventurer M2500 Video Light has 5 modes to cycle through –
Standard Beam
The main light with 2500 lumens, This mode has a 60min burn time. This Wide light has a 100° emission angle, and features an auto-shut-off-mode – meaning it turns off for half a second, just as your strobe fires to ensure you don’t over-expose your images, and to enhance the natural colour! The colour temperature of the light is 5500K, and the torch has 3 different levels of brightness to assist your videography and photography. It can switch to a “strobe” / flashing mode, for emergency situations.
Snoot (Spotlight)
This mode has a small 3° ultra-narrow angle 300lumen beam to capture macro photos with a dark background – whether in full daylight or dark black water. The Snoot mode also has 3 levels of brightness, auto-shut-0ff-mode, and has 250minutes 0f burn time.
Red
This mode is a 200lumen red light, to help restore the true colours to the underwater world. It also features 3 levels of brightness, auto shut-off-mode, and has 250 minutes of burn time.
Blue
The blue light is a 6W light, with 120mins of burn time.
Pink
This mode combines the blue light and red lights.
