1st September 2024 – Fathers Day Dives
Today with another warm day we headed out to South Solitary for a double dive!
For our dives we dropped into Cleaner Station for the first dive, and Shark Gutters to the Gantry for the second.
Our dives featured all the usual suspects, Grey Nurse Sharks, schooling fish, and wobbegongs. Notably when dropping in on the first dive a QLD was spotted right underneath the mooring. Divers also saw lots of different nudibranches, and one diver even found a yellow frogfish in cleaner cave! They also spotted a rosy spindle cowry and a juvenile clown trigger fish. There was a very pregnant Grey Nurse Shark, bull rays and eagle rays.
Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers out there.
