Local operator who is very knowledgeable and helpful. Our dive to Solitary Island was unfortunately, cancelled due to a storm and was fully refunded. We were able to complete the Nitrox course with Mike (the boss) and buy some gear. This is a very safe and professional dive operation. Highly recommended.

We (family group of 9) went on a whale watching tour in August 2023. Our first attemp was cancelled due to bad weather. Jetty dive team let us know and rebooking a new date was easy and hassle free.
We had a beautiful day, the crew was knowledgeable, humerous and caring for some of our group who were prone to seasickness. We saw many whales and two special ones swam around our boat and watched us for some time. Absolutely magical, thank you

I took my family on a whale watching experience for my sons birthday this past weekend, couldn’t fault the service, directives or customer service.
The trip was simple, tick you’re names off, get in and listen to safety instructions go!
I booked online and got a courtesy email about my booking (we had 2 small kids) and everything was in order.
We had a very lucky experience with 2 youth whales who were very happy to “mug” the boat for about an hour, the captain was also pleasantly surprised with how inquisitive the whales were for us!
Everyone had great opportunities to view the whales, the captain had an easy job and the assistants were friendly and I think enjoyed our experience as much as we did!
Thanks team, I would (and have) highly recommend to anyone!

We recently did a Discover Scuba Dive experience with Jetty Dive and really enjoyed it. We found all of the team to be very friendly, particularly our instructor Lindsay who made us feel very welcome during the pool training session and on the boat for the dive. He was very kind and patient with our small group and our varying abilities and nerves about diving. The equipment quality was good and the boat was comfortable and set up well for what we needed. We look forward to returning for more diving, snorkelling and whale watching in the future with Jetty Dive!

A fabulous trip excellent guides, great local knowledge & they showed humour & sensitivity to customers, although we didn’t see breeches we did see a number of humpbacks & some tails. I’d definitely recommend.

It’s been six years since my last dive. I did a refresher course with Jetty dive on 13/14 Nov. It was also my first dive in Australia. I was on my own and it was way out of my comfort zone but the whole crew and my fellow divers were so welcoming and nice. I will definitely do my next course with them in the future.

Whale watching adventure
A very joyful morning on the water with the team at Jetty Dive. Was an absolute brilliant day with plenty of action from the whales. The team were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Sharing plenty of laughs and taking plenty of photos we can’t not thank the team enough, definitely recommend trying!

Fantastic day up close to whales
Omg what a wonderful day of whale watching. The boat took us out about 15 mins from shore then waited! Within ten minutes we were surrounded by whales who came right up to boat and underneath..just amazing. Definitely recommend

Lindsay and his crew took us offshore to find whales as inshore was very quiet, after much scouting they put us onto multiple pods of very playful Humpbacks that stayed with us for two hours, spy hopping, pec slapping and even complete breaching. We were able to swim with them multiple times through our trip and I couldn't rate this experience any higher.

What a great day! fantastic Skipper, crew & boat, got us out to deep water & whales within 10 minutes, unbelievable. The whales really turned it on as well with several visits to the boat & tail up dives by 2 juveniles. The crew was also very knowledgable & informative. A great 1-1/2 hours & worth every cent.

This is well worth the money. Great views of the whales and we learnt a lot from the commentary by skipper Mike and his off-sider Ash. Highly recommended.

South solitary island and the staff were beautiful
really well organised. Staff were really kind even though I was quite nervous about seeing sharks (I only saw wobbegongs anyways!)! I feel really grateful to have had my first experience at a different diving company to where I got my open water certification with this company. They were really lovely staff, have a lot of equipment and really know there stuff! Hope to come back in the future.

I completed my Open Water Dive Certification. Woohoo!! Thank you so much to the crew, for their support and guidance whilst I undertook my training. A big shout out to Stu in particular, for being so patient and encouraging with me whilst my ears took a little longer to equalise.. We got there. My dives were nothing less than spectacular and I cant wait to go back out with the guys again. Thanks again for the awesome whale watching tour, it was simply amazing to get so close to these majestic creatures, just wow! We were highly impressed with the tour and thanks for looking after our daughter who got a little green around the gills too! Despite being a little sick she said she had a great time and loved the boat donuts at the end!
