26th July 2026 – Sunday brought Crystal Clear Conditions at South Solitary!
Yesterday, our dive boat headed out to South Solitary and was greeted with beautifully clear water. The water temperature had climbed back up to 21°C, so everyone was thrilled!
On the first dive at Cleaner Station, we were surrounded by Grey Nurse Sharks, huge schools of fish, and spotted an Eagle Ray as well as a stunning Emperor Angelfish. We also found a couple of small bubble nudibranchs, making for an incredible dive.
For the second dive, the group re-entered the water at Cleaner Station and enjoyed a relaxing drift dive around to South Boulder.
Congratulations to Peter on completing his Enriched Air Nitrox certification with Mike in the shop after the dives! Diving with enriched air allows you to safely extend your no-decompression limits compared with diving on regular air, giving you more bottom time on many dives.
