29th June 2026 – Monday Marine Madness
There was a whole lot of excitement today as SoWild headed out to the island, with migrating Humpback Whales putting on a show with a bunch of beautiful breaching before we even got out to South Solitary island.
Getting in for dive one at Shark Gutters had the divers seeing the now almost guaranteed Grey Nurse Sharks, allowing the divers to get up close and personal with them.
Dive two had everyone making a swim from Shark Gutters to South Boulder, with a few very chill, and very hungry Hawkesbill Turtles having lunch along the way, along with huge numbers of Wobbegong Sharks, including some very big, pregnant females.
