So Wild headed out to South Solitary with a great bunch of divers today.

The group was split into two, and everyone headed in for the first dive at Manta Arch. We were spoiled with Grey Nurse Sharks everywhere, swimming through the Arch and right around to the back gutter. After spending half the dive hanging out with the Grey Nurse Sharks, we had a look around and were swooped by a big loggerhead turtl. We also spotted a group of mulloway, two Persian carpet flatworms, including one swimming through the water.

After some hot soup, we headed around to Cleaner Station and explored the crevices around the gutters. There were more schooling fish, a few Spanish dancers, some nudibranchs and a few Eastern Black Cod.

After a good look around, we headed down the wall and exited at South Boulder. While listening to the whales singing, we came across a spotted moray eel, a cuttlefish and a mantis shrimp that was out in the open, swimming around with us!

What an awesome day of diving at South Solitary!
