6th October 2024 – Turtletastic

We had so many people wanting to dive today we changed boats and loaded “MEGA Wild” up with 23 divers!!

Dive one was at Cleaner Station, this dive had lots to see inclduing a few Grey Nurse Sharks at the bottom of the mooring, Black Cod, Eagle Rays, Nudibranchs and Barney The Loggerhead having some morning tea in Shark Gutters.

Dive two was a drift from Shark Gutters down to The Gantry. This dive was fantastic as the drift was a perfect speed to not kick at all and soak up the life on the dive. We had schools of Sweep and Tarwhine, Yellow Goat Fish, Kingfish and a few Black Cod.
Near the Gantry we had about 8-10 different Turtles that were not shy of our divers.
