It’s great to keep dive logs for a few reasons! Not only to keep track of your memories, where you’ve dived and your numbers over time, but in case you need it!
Some dive centres and dive sites may require you to have a certain number of dives under your belt before joining them. Some courses like Divemasters, Instructors, Or Master Scuba Diver Trainer require a certain amount of dives to begin and complete. Having proof of the amount of dives you had done can be convenient for many situations, and your PADI Logbook only has space for 46 dives, which isn’t enough for the aformentioned courses.
