Local operator who is very knowledgeable and helpful. Our dive to Solitary Island was unfortunately, cancelled due to a storm and was fully refunded. We (family group of 9) went on a whale watching tour in August 2023. Our first attemp was cancelled due to bad weather.  Jetty dive team let us know and rebooking a new date was easy and hassle free. We had a beautiful day, the crew was knowledgeable,  humerous and caring for some of our group who were prone to seasickness. I took my family on a whale watching experience for my sons birthday this past weekend, couldn’t fault the service, directives or customer service. The trip was simple, tick you’re names off, get in and listen to safety instructions go! I booked online and got a courtesy email about my booking (we had 2 small kids) and everything was in order. We had a very lucky experience with 2 youth whales who were very happy to “mug” the boat for about an hour, the captain was also pleasantly surprised with how inquisitive the whales were for us! Everyone had great opportunities to view the whales, the captain had an easy job and the assistants were friendly and I think enjoyed our experience as much as we did! We recently did a Discover Scuba Dive experience with Jetty Dive and really enjoyed it. We found all of the team to be very friendly, particularly our instructor Lindsay who made us feel very welcome during the pool training session and on the boat for the dive. He was very kind and patient with our small group and our varying abilities and nerves about diving. The equipment quality was good and the boat was comfortable and set up well for what we needed. It’s been six years since my last dive. I did a refresher course with Jetty dive on 13/14 Nov. It was also my first dive in Australia. I was on my own and it was way out of my comfort zone but the whole crew and my fellow divers were so welcoming and nice. The BEST!! Such a professional and supportive dive crew, Jetty Dive Centre are absolutely wonderful at what they do and also a great bunch of people with a wealth of knowledge and dedication to their industry. We are so grateful to have had their expertise and guidance whilst completing our own water dive course. Wow! Let's do that again. We had the best mornings adventure for a long time. All the staff were so accomodating & helpful every step of the way. Yeeeeeewwwwwwwww!!!!!! Can't rate the team at jetty dive highly enough! Stu and Meg were such an awesome pair of instructors to enter the deep unknown with. Felt safe and looked after the whole time. Professional Operation/Great Dives! This was not our first time diving with Jetty Dive Centre, and it will not be our last. It is one of the most professional operations that I have experienced in over 36 years of diving. The staff is amazing, the shop is very organized and they have one of the nicest, most comfortable dive boats that I have been diving from.A lot of thought went into its design. We had some fantastic dives with them at South Solitary Island over the past couple of days. Hammerhead Sharks, Grey Nurse Sharks, Wobbegongs and lots of small critters as well. Thanks again for the awesome whale watching tour, it was simply amazing to get so close to these majestic creatures, just wow! We were highly impressed with the tour and thanks for looking after our daughter who got a little green around the gills too! Despite being a little sick she said she had a great time and loved the boat donuts at the end!
