23rd November 2024 – Lovely Saturday on the water
Today we headed out with a full MegaWild for a double dive to South Solitary Island!
For the first dive we dropped into Manta Arch, heading to Shark Gutters. On this dive we saw approximately 20 Grey Nurse Sharks hanging around the arch. We also saw Banded Coral Shrimp, Old Wives, and bannerfish. And of course schooling Tarwhine.
For the second dive we headed from Shark Gutters to the Gantry. On this dive there were around 10 Grey Nurse Sharks around North Boulder. We also saw Marbled Rays, Fire Goby, and Egg Cowries. There were Blue tangs, sailfin tang and some eagle rays.
