4th January 2025 – Leopard Sharks Arrive with Blue Water
Today was another spectacular day at South Solitary Island! “Mega Wild” and “So Wild” were welcome with beautiful blue Water and minimal current.
Dive one, So Wild’s crew got in at Manta Arch and finished at Cleaner Station while Mega Wilds divers got in at Shark Gutters to explore the top end.
There were 10-12 Grey Nurse Sharks, Pearl Perch, Schooling fish, Eagle Rays and Turtles.
Dive two both boats done the drift from Shark Gutters down to The Gantry. This dive had it all including Black Cod, Eagle Rays, Kingfish, Nudibranchs, Moary Eels, Turtles everywhere at the gap and 2 Leopard Sharks!!!
