21st September 2025- Sweet Sunny Sunday!
Finishing the weekend strong, SoWild got a crew of some loved local divers and some students, al heading out to the lighthouse for a double dive. Whales and Dolphins put on a show for us on our way out there!
Dive was up and down at Manta Arch and Shark Gutters was the choice for our second dive. Teagan ventured into the deep to complete the “deep dive” as part of PADI advanced diver course, whilst everyone else stayed in the Arch and Back Gutter. Grey Nurse Sharks were in abundance all the way around the corner to the top end, too! Some big pregnant females are still hanging around and little juveniles too, a couple have recognizable features to the staff. The top end was fish-soup! Schooling Pomfrets and Bullseyes were everywhere, with the amazing school of Barracuda still hanging around. Both Juvenile and Adult Emperor Angelfish were seen in the swim through of Shark Gutters! A few turtles were also seen, one was even having a mid morning snooze inside of cleaner cave!
