30th November 2025 – Fish Soup on Boulder Wall
We had a steady southerly again today, which meant the top end was the choice.
For dive one, we all got in at Shark Gutters and were welcomed by a few Grey Nurse Sharks. We also had a Queensland Grouper, Black Cod, Bullrays, Banded Coral Shrimp, Nudibranchs and Turtles
Dive two was a Drift from Shark Gutters down to South Boulder, we had 2-3 Grey Nurse Sharks scattered around, Turtles, Nudibranch’s, Schooling Bannerfish, Tarwhine and Bullrays. Down Boulder Wall, the fish life was insane, we had Eagle Rays, more Bullrays, Kingfish, Moray Eels and a rare Black Boxfish.
Fingers and Fins crossed, this southerly over the next few days brings in the blue water.
Congratulations to Theo, who finished their Open Water Course today
Visibility 10-15m
Temp 19-20C
