17th December 2025 – Turtletastic Wednesday

Conditions had calmed down enough to get out today for two dives at South Solitary Island.
Dive one was on Boulder Wall as we started on South Boulder and went up the wall towards Shark gutters. We had a few Turtles, Black Cod, a lone Grey Nurse Shark, and a Black Boxfish.

Dive two was an attempted drift from South Boulder down to The Gantry, but we come head on with an unusual reverse current, which made most of the groups get to The Gap and head back to South Boulder. Still plenty to see with 3-4 Turtles, Schools of Surgeon Fish and Bullseyes, Painted Crayfish, and some big Wobbegongs.
