Sunday 9th August 2026 – Student Sunday

Today’s diving was every student centric, with so-wild almost completely filled with students doing open water dives. The water was still super clear when we got to South Solitary Island for dive one. Getting in the water divers got to experience, turtles, Grey Nurse Sharks and Eagle Rays up close.

A northerly that picked up during the first dive made the decision for us to head in closer to shore, diving at Split Solitary for our second. Turtle Cove was a little bit colder than South Solitary, but we saw lots of life amongst the carpets of plate coral. The Wobbegongs were out in force, as well as lots of macro life with divers seeing a huge variety of nudibranchs.
