5th September 2026 – Spring Scuba Session
Today we celebrated the first dive of Spring in the best possible way, with plenty to see out at South Solitary Island. Today’s first dive had us getting in the water at Buchanan’s Wall for an epic dive. With loads of schooling fish and turtle galore, divers enjoyed the excellent conditions underwater. The highlight of this dive was an orange frogfish, rarely seen around South Solitary, this macro critter is a very unique find.
For dive two we moved SoWild to the Gantry, enjoying the nice conditions and seeing plenty of juvenile wobbegongs, an eagle ray and turtles every time you looked up. the whole second dive was backed up the songs of the whales as they migrate south for the summer.
