30th September 2026 – Wonderful Wednesday
So Wild was out for a mid week dive, taking advantage of a lull in the weather for some amazing diving conditions. Despite the visability dropping a bit from the weekend the sea life was out in force. Dive one was a cruisy swim from South Boulder to The Gantry, With huge numbers of Turtles in the Gap, lots schooling fish, Crayfish and baby wobbegongs.
Second dive dive had us getting in at the top end of the island for a swim from Shark Gutters Down to South Boulder. Divers got some really close encounters with Grey Nurse Sharks, seeing around 16 Nurse Sharks. Other highlights were some massive octopus, Hawksbill turtles and a surprise appearance from Barney the Loggerhead Turtle.
