3 Trip options aboard the Spirit of Freedom

With a low exchange rate, this makes australian travel a great option for Dive Holidays. Take the tour of a lifetime with us to the Coral Sea and Barrier Reef aboard the luxurious “Spirit of Freedom”.

Sleek and spacious, the ‘Spirit of Freedom’ offers the best in live-aboard dive cruising to the Coral Sea and Ribbon Reefs. This trip will take you to arguably the best of the Barrier Reef, far away from the day-boats and then to spoil you even more, take you 120 miles offshore in the Coral Sea, to Osprey Reef where the walls emerge from 1000 metres. This is the best reef that Australia can offer. Here you will experience amazingly clear water, masses of corals, Reef Sharks, Whalers, Hammerheads, Mantas and big fish action.

4 Day Option: Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs $1,750

This tour begins every Monday from Cairns, and travels 240km along the rarely visited Ribbon Reefs, to the Cod Hole. Along the ‘Ribbons’ you will encounter clouds of colourful tropical fish, an incredible variety of vibrant healthy corals, giant clams, anemones, huge schools of cruising pelagic fish, and a family of giant potato cod. Includes 3 nights aboard Spirit of Freedom, 21/2 days diving up to 11 dives and then a low level flight from Lizard Island to Cairns.

5 Day option: Coral Sea and Ribbon Reef $2,125

Joining the tour with a flight from Cairns to Lizard Island, and joining the 7 days option, you will also spend 2 -3 days at Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea. An old volcanic atoll lying 220km off the coast, Osprey Reef is renown for its spectacular walls to 1000m, its massive soft corals, shark action, and exceptional visibility. ‘North Horn’ at the tip of Osprey is a site where grey reef sharks, silvertips, and the occasional oceanic congregate. Here you can also experience a close encounter with the Spirit of Freedom shark attraction dive. This tour also includes an overnight stay in secluded Watson’s Bay and a couple of hours ashore at Lizard Island. Return to Cairns 7 days later on the Monday morning. Up to 15 dives on this Option.

8 Day Option: Cod Hole, Ribbon Reefs and Coral Sea adventure $3625

This 8 day trip is a combination of the two other options taking in the pristine and remote Barrier Reef areas and then the Coral Sea to highlight Australia’s best diving. This trip is one that you “must do” to appreciate the beauty of Australia’s best. This option starts and finishes at Cairns, has 7 nights aboard Spirit of Freedom with all meals and Luxury service, 3-4 days in the Ribbon Reefs and 2-3 days at the Coral sea diving up to 26 dives!
