The Ocean Hunter Chameleon hood is 3mm in thickness, and features a bib. Created with Ocean Hunter’s Chameleon camoflage print, which brought Ocean Hunter’s name into the Australian spearfishing scene. Now you can use that camoflage from head to toe.
Wearing a hood can improve your comfort, and offer added protection while spearfishing. A great addition if spearing for hours on end!
This camoflage was designed specifically for Australian Waters so that you can blend in with your surroundings. The goal of this is to get fish closer to you. It features air venting on the top of the hood in case air bubbles get under the hood. It also features a bib to be tucked into your wetsuit or top, this is to help prevent water from getting in and to add some extra warmth.
Some people also find having a hood on can help their ears – the warmth that is focused around the head and ears is beneficial, especially when equalizing them repetitively over a period of time.
