Saturday 8th August 2026 – Clear weekend Water
Today’s dive trip out to South Solitary Island had us finding blue water almost straight on leaving the harbour. The conditions only got better as we got out to the island for our first dive at Manta Arch. While there was only a few sharks underneath the arch today, there was plenty of action up the back gutter. Around 15 Grey nurse stacked into this gutter, letting divers get up close to them.
The second dive was a beautiful swim around Shark Gutters. Divers experienced more Grey Nurse action around Cleaner Station, while getting so see turtles, lionfish and some really unique nudibranchs around the gutters.
