Shark Saturday at South Solitary
SoWild shot out to South Solitary Island this morning, with the conditions under the water making for a spectacular experience. The clear blue water was packed to the gills with action, divers getting up close and personal with 20 Grey Nurse Sharks hanging around the top end of the island. Schooling Batfish, Eagle Rays, and Diamond Trevally were highlights of dive one at Cleaner Station.
Dive 2 was a short swim from Manta Arch to Cleaner Station, with another 20 Grey Nurse sharks around Manta Arch, as well as a Dusky Whaler hanging further out in the blue. Banded coral shrimp, yellow box fish, and some huge Spanish dancers were also some of the top sights on this dive.
