Details and Rules
Our Underwater Photography Competition trips at Coffs Harbour operate daily from November 1st to December 13th , in the beautiful waters of the Solitary Islands Marine Park. All pictures or video must be taken from one of our Dive Trips.
Yes!, all photos and videos must be taken from a Jetty Dive Dive trip and be presented in the format it is taken after the trip at Jetty Dive. A copy will be taken and lodged as your entry.
To enter the competition you must firstly, complete a entry form to put yourself into the competition. Book onto and dive the Solitary Islands with us and take pictures or video and submit them to the shop after the trip.
Every two weeks a winner will be decided based on the picture and how and what it was taken with. A prize for the best picture and a prize for the best picture or video taken from a non-DSLR camera (Olympus TG 6,7 type) or Action Camera (Go pro or Insta 360) will be awarded.
We will have a independent judge of the competition conduct the judging. Details will follow when the competition starts.
Yes you can. Submit the original picture to us on the day, and if you choose to do Post production enhancements to improve the image, we will judge it based on reasonable enhancements.
We can run a trip every day – as long as we reach the minimum numbers to run our boat, and the weather is appropriate for our trip.
Definitely – our weekend and school holiday boats often book out. You will need to leave a deposit to hold your position on the boat upon booking. Deposits are fully refundable if 48 hours notice before the trip is given. (Also refunded if trip is cancelled by us, due to weather) (Refer to part 29 of our terms and conditions for more details)
