14th September 2023- Beautiful Deep Blue

We had perfect conditions this morning for a swim, so we took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed out for some epic whale swimming!

We had a massive pod of both Common and Bottlenose Dolphins escorting us on our way out wide, leading us to the pods of playful humpbacks! We were intially greeeted by a pod of 5-6 Humpback’s. We noticed the males trying to win the femals attention over, so left them to their business!

We took the opportunity to jump in the water with 5 curious Whales, 2 of them being playful juveniles. We had beautiful blue water with some epic vis, so we were able to spend quite some time in the water with them!! We had them dive right under our group, showing off their beauty to everyone!

The visibility was 25-30 metres and the water temperature was a beautiful 22°C !
