The new Oceanic Hera BCD is built from the ground up and designed specifically around the female form. The Hera has ample adjustments to make it your own, without sacrificing features and functionality. It may just be the most comfortable, best fitting BC you’ve ever worn – the only way you’ll know is to try it.
The Hera features the oceanic QLR Integrated Weight System, which accomodates up to 20lbs. These weight pockets are positioned at a slight downward angle to aid in self-loading. It also has two non-dumpable rear weight pouches to assist with positioning in the water.
The overall design is contoured to suit female’s body shape. The hera features Oceanic’s Adjustable Positioning System (A.P.S.) track, which allows adjustment of where the straps on the BCD connect to the lower sides. This enables complete customisation on how this BCD will fit, and ensures it will be comfortable for people of all sizes and body shapes. The BCD also features contouring over the hip, contoured shoulder straps, and an adjustable depth-compensating cummerbund.
The innovative design of the Hera BCD’s air cell allows the freedom of movement and in water positioning expected from a rear-inflation BC. However, the unique wrap-around design of the air cell provides you more lift than most BCDSs and provides a more upright orientation when the BCD is inflated on the surface.
