Wednesday 10th June 2026 – Whale Watching starts with a mugging!!

Well you would not expect that in June. A great trip out this morning with a couple of young Humpback Whales decided they wanted to see us up close. We were Mugged!.

If you don’t know, this is a term used when whales come right up to boats and virtually stop them from moving by literally hanging around the boat. This can be an amazing experience, especially on our boats as they come so close, you could almost touch them.

Normally we don’t see muggings until they start their southern migration in August, however, the early Northern migration whales can do it, like today!
