The Oceanpro Eclipse Snorkel is a great basic snorkel!
A standard snorkel without any fuss, the Eclipse has a purge valve at the bottom, and is made with a silicone mouthpiece and flexible section on the tube.
The purge valve on the bottom of the snorkel has a one-way valve, allowing water to exit the bottom of the snorkel. However, if it doesn’t drain naturally, the purge still helps! A sharp burst of air into the mouthpiece allows the water to exit from the purge valve at the bottom, without having to shoot all the way up to the top fo the tube.
The silicone flexible portion of the tube allows for comfort while holding the mouthpiece in your mouth. The flexibility allows the snorkel to sit where it is comfortable for you! Not only that, but if you are scuba diving this means the snorkel will sit out of the way from your regulator, and makes for easy changes from snorkel to regulator. The snorkel’s flexible section is made with 100% liquid silicone. Silicone construction means it be durable and stand the test of time. The mouthpiece is also made from 100% liquid silicone, so it feels comfortable in your mouth. Additionally, the mouthpiece is completely replacable, so if you do chew through yours you can get another one!
