The new Sharkskin Chillproof Long Sleeve step-in top can be worn alone for sun and wind protection, or underneath a wetsuit for extra warmth to your neoprene. The unique and comfortable one-piece design not only looks great, but prevents the top from riding up so you can wear it on its own without having to wear separate shorts or swimmer bottoms. Additionally, with more coverage you get more widespread warmth. It has a soft neoprene neck seal to help keep wind, water and waves from entering to undergarment. The features of the long sleeves offer additional protection from the cold and sun.
The Sharkskin Chillproof Long Sleeve Step-In has a zipper down the front which makes it even easier to put on than a standard long-sleeve top, and there are thumb loops on the inside of the wrists to ensure the sleeves don’t ride up when putting your wetsuit on top.

Office-Lady Tara loves the Long Sleeve Step-In, saying “It’s so comfortable and warm. I love not having to worry about it riding up on my torso as I move on my dive, and the comfort of knowing everything is secure underneath my wetsuit. Especially when diving on boats for work, this ensures that I don’t have any swimmer slips.”
What is ChillProof?
ChillProof is an aquatic specific, windproof, 3 layer composite material that has been developed for water sports athletes. The comfortable “micro fleece” layer is next to the skin and can help pull moisture and sweat away from the body to help keep you dry. The second middle ‘technical’ layer is 100% windproof, yet breathes to regulate body temperature whilst stopping wind chill. The third and outer layer is a nylon/lycra blend for abrasion resistance and 4 way stretch.
These three layers of SharkSkin when combined together provide the equivilant warmth of a 2.5 to 3mm wetsuit. Unlike a standard wetsuit, ChillProof material stops wind and chill. The ChillProof range is neutrally buoyant, antimicrobial, and odor and itch resistant. It’s also UV resistant for sun protection and has durable water repellent finish (DWR) to provide a protective shell that “sheds” water.
