With just a 2 1/2 flight from Brisbane direct to the island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu. 6 nights twin share accommodation is at the Coral Quays Dive Resort, who will also provide the 8 dives on the famous wreck, SS President Coolidge and Million Dollar Point.
The SS President Coolidge Wreck in Santo – Vanuatu is up there with one of the biggest accessible shipwrecks in the world sitting at 198m long and 22,000 tons in weight. Situated a short distance offshore, all the dives are shore based, with the front of the boat in just 18 metres of water. The sheer size of the wreck means multiple dives can be done on it without visiting the same spot.
The Coolidge sank with all equipment on board during WWII in 1942. This Wreck is huge and fully penetrable and the diving is very safe and easy. We do suggest divers have at least a PADI Advanced Open Water certification and even a PADI Deep Diver cert or equivalent experience to get the full benefit of this amazing wreck.
Million Dollar Point is a great dive on wreckage of machinery that was driven into the sea at the end of WWII. Everything from Bulldozers and Graders to small Shipwrecks can be seen on this easy shore dive.
