20th September 2026 – Students mix with Turtles

Calm seas this morning made a very enjoyable trip out to South Solitary Island.
Dive one had the Advanced students and certified divers in at Manta Arch where they made their way to The Gap and through to The Gantry, the Open Water Students were completing their skills here in the shallows.
Lots to see in these locations including 20-30 Grey Nurse Sharks, Eagle Rays, Nudibranchs, monster Queensland Grouper and Turtles.

Dive two was a drift from the top end down to The Gantry, marine creatures spotted this dive were Grey Nurse Sharks, Fusiliers, Wobbegongs, Blue Tangs and some super friendly Green Sea Turtles near The Gap.

Congratulations to Wynee and T.J who finished their PADI Open Water Course today.
