21st April 2022 – Leopard Sharks here late April
We only had a few divers today, so we took 2Wild out to South Solitary Island for a spin.
Once we arrived, we tied on to Shark Gutters mooring which gave us the most protection for dive one.
We had Grey Nurse sharks, Black Cod, Blue Spotted Rays and schools of Fusiliers on this dive with a very curious Leopard Shark (Zebra Shark) that could not help itself and come say hi.
Dive two we started with a live drop around the Back Gutter, we descended onto 8-12 Grey Nurse Sharks and then made our way through the gap and finishing at South Boulder. The Western side of the island had Wobbegongs, Nudibranchs and lots of Turtles… roughly 12!!!
