Before the wind picks up a bit tomorrow, SoWild managed to get a trip out to South Solitary for a double dive with a boat full of keen divers! Upon arrival, the water looked quite blue and there was minimal surface current, allowing divers to get in again at the top end of the island.

Dive one saw divers descending at Shark Gutters for a cheeky time cruising in and out of the gutters. For the second dive, we took advantage of the slight bit of current and drifted down boulder wall from Shark Gutters to ascend at the gantry! Both dives were phenomenal, presenting lots of awesome amrine life! Hammerheads once again made their appearance, this time off of the sanctuary marker at Shark Gutters. 8-10 Grey Nurse Sharks were seen on the boulder wall, some big and small! Barney, the islands resident Loggerhead Turtle, said hello to our open water divers inside of the Third Gutter as well. Besides that, different rays, schooling fish, and blue water made these two dives fantastic!
