10th January 2025 – Manta Finally Seen at Manta Arch!

Despite the dreary weather Megawild loaded up with some super keen divers and steamed out to South Solitary for today’s diving!

First up our divers dropped in at Manta Arch, where a dozen Grey Nurse Sharks were seen in the arch, along with Nudibranchs, Popcorn Shrimp, Zebra Lionfish, White Eyed Morays, Orangutan Crabs and to top things off a massive Oceanic Manta cruised by!

Dive 2 saw our divers descend on Shark Gutters for a drift dive to The Gantry. A Leopard Shark, Spotted Eagle Rays, Chevron Baracuda, Green Turtles, Mimic Filefish, Yellow Boxfish, Schooling Tarwhine were amongst the highlights.

Water Temperature: 22-24°

Visibility: 8-15m
