31st January 2025 – Thermocline Friday
Dive one today was at Manta Arch, this dive had about 6-8 Grey Nurse Sharks and the word on the boat there was a huge pregnant female which made everyone look twice to see what it was.
There was also a few Black Cod, Nudibranchs, Dwarf Lionfish and schools of Fusiliers.
Dive two was a drift from Shark Gutters down to South Boulder, there was a bit of a thermocline with it being a cool 22C on the bottom, but clear and 24-25C above 10m
The life on the wall was insane with Eagle and Bull rays, Leopard Sharks, Turtles, schools of Tarwhine, Bullseyes and much more.
