SoWild and MegaWild ventured out to optimise the great weather we had today. The big boat headed out to South Solitary Island whilst the little boat made its way up to North Solitary today.

MegaWild hooked up to Buchanan’s Wall mooring for the first dive. On this dive, we saw a Leopard Shark and a couple of Green Turtles! There was a wall (next to the wall) of schooling pomfrets and surgenfish. Nudibranchs, Blue Tang, Old Wives, and Wobbegongs were amongst some of the other marine life seen. The second dive was a cruisy drift from South Boulder down to The Gantry. A couple Yellow Box Fish were seen, manymany Green and Hawksbill Turtles (very large ones!) and around 5-6 Leopard Sharks who were all very playful around our divers! Blue Spotted Sting Rays, Blue Groupers, and some cool fish that wont be mentioned were amongst the other thngs seen.

SoWild made its way up to North Solitary Island after a smooth 75 minute trip up north. Dive one saw divers drop in at Elbow Cave and dive two was a drop in at Anenome Bay to head over to the Canyons. Even though the visbility wasnt fantasitc, there was an abundance of things to be seen! Loads of Leopard Sharks surrounding the divers was the highlight of todays trip. A super massive Sting Ray was swimming about, the biggest some of our divers have seen! Banded Coral Shrimp and Peppermint Shrimp, nudi’s, and Green Turtles are some other notable mentions!

Congratulations Mariam for completing your PADI Open Water DIving COurse!
