There is Turtles and lovely Coral gardens at Apo Island on 2 of the days diving along with amazing Critter dives on the local sites around Atmosphere resort. Then on the last day we have planned a trip to Oslob to Snorkel or Dive with Whalesharks !

Located at Dumaguete on the island of Negros, Atmosphere Resort is ideally located to cover all aspects of diving in the region. To the south is Apo Island, a marine sanctuary for over 25 years, with clear water and abundant corals. We have two days diving included with 4 dives to this area. the other 3 days of diving will take us to local sites where there is some amazing critters and fish-life. Then to finish the trip off, a highlight of this trip is a Day trip to Oslob to dive or snorkel with Whalesharks

What is the chances of seeing Whalesharks???

Oslob has the unique experience with Whalesharks. The locals used to compete with whalesharks for their food (and sometimes ate them!) Now they catch the Krill that whalesharks love and attract them to this special location by feeding them. This means that you are likely to see multiple Whalesharks as the locals in their canoes are above throwing out food for them. Whilst this is not as natural as chasing them in the wild, it is an amazing experience to see them up close whilst underwater. The snorkellers also get a great view without having to chase after them like other locations.

*This day trip is not included in the cost of the trip, as it is locals providing the experience. So around 5000 pesos (approx $150) will be the extra cost of this day. We usually plan for this on the last day, as the dive is not much deeper than 5 mtrs, and suits our off gassing, last day, before flying.

** Price is subject to change, which it has! This is the latest price as of Jan 2025 as a result of a $75 rise in airline taxes. We are full on the deluxe room category on the trip, and maybe able to get another room, but it will be a higher class of room with an additional costs with the room category.
