12th July 2025 – Seal visits South Solitary Island
With only a few people on board, So Wild headed out to South Solitary Island for a couple dives.
Just as we arrived at the island we spotted a Seal playing on the surface and to one of the lucky groups that same seal came up for a close look underwater.
Considering the visibility was a bit low both dives had loads to see including 15-20 Grey Nurse Sharks, huge schools of Trevally and Bulleyes, Turtles and a large school of Morish Idols.
Congratulations to Nathan who finished his PADI Open Water Course today
Visibility 5-8m
Temp 19-20C
