17th February 2026 – Turtley Wild Tuesday!
With the good conditions holding out SoWild loaded up with some very excited divers and headed out to South Solitary for today’s diving
First up, our divers dropped in at Shark Gutters. On descent, our divers were engulfed by massive clouds of various schooling fish; other highlights of the dive included Leopard Sharks, juvenile Black Boxfish, juvenile Yellow Boxfish, Black Cod, Nudibranchs (notable mention being a Hypselodiris maculosa) and a Peacock Mantis Shrimp.
After the surface interval, our divers descended on Shark Gutters for a drift dive to the Gantry. Along the way 10+ Leopard Sharks were seen along with a pair of Thornyback Cowfish, Fire Gobies, Spotted Eaglerays, Banded Coral Shrimp and a massive male Green Turtle that joined one group of divers for the duration of their safety stop!
Water Temperature: 24°C
