Mega Wild had a nice mid-week break today! Despite the swing around in the forecasted wind, we managed to get two really great dives in today! First up, SoWild saw divers jump in at Buchanans and swim up to the gantry. After a sunny surface interval, we jumped back in at Shark Gutters and used the current in our favour to get down the boulder wall.

There were lots of macros sighted on our first dive! Little critters like Peppermint Shrimp and a depressed spider crab were seen in the corals, along with Yellow Box Fish and even a Cow Fish! Schools of fish, Mimic File Fish, and some Fire Gobies were some highlights of our first dive. Our second dive was fabulous, with blue and warm water! The current was pushing, so we got to see a heap! Leopard Sharks were out and about, numbering about half a dozen in total. Eagle Rays were seen cruising around the shallow parts of the Gutters, while Octopus and Cuttlefish were hiding underneath the rocks. Plenty of Turtles were out and about in the Gap, both Hawksbill and Greens. Aand a Emporer Shrimp was seen chill-axing on top of a Spanish Dancer.
