23rd December 2015 – Hammer Heads cruising high off Boulder Wall
The Northern end of South Solitary was the pick for today’s dives as there was a brisk southerly whipping around the corner.
Both dives were good in their own way, we had Grey Nurse Sharks, Bullrays, Tarwhine, Green Sea Turtles, a school of Cow Nose Rays and about 6-8 Hammer Head Sharks just off Boulder Wall!!
There was a very cool (17C) layer right on the bottom that all the divers were trying to avoid.
We would like to congratulate Ryan and Scott for becoming PADI Open Water Divers today and our best looking Dive Master Gary Kennedy on completing his 500th dive today!
