23rd March 2026 – Fish Soup Monday!
Despite the threatening grey skies the ocean remained fairly smooth and SoWild powered out to South Solitary for today’s diving!
First up our divers descended on Shark Gutters, Highlights of the dive included a Sandbar Shark, a big school of Chevron Baracuda, Leopard Sharks, Nudibranchs (most notable being a tiny Diversidoris flava), Spiney-Legged Lobsters, Depressed Spider Crabs, Black Cod, and masses of schooling fish.
After the Surface interval our divers descended on Cleaner Station mooring during the dive more Leopard Sharks, schooling fish, Trumpeters, Frogfish, Nudibranchs, Flatworms, Spindle Cowries and a pair of massive Eagle Rays were seen.
