24th JANUARY 2026 – Double Solitary Double Dive
A busy start to the long weekend had us launchin out to the Solitarys in both MegaWild and SoWild. Megawild loaded with eager divers made it’s way to South Solitary Island. Both dives were around the top end of the island. Divers got up close with some Blotched Fantail Rays, Lionfish, Wobbegongs and Turtles.
Meanwhile So wild loaded with divers and nudibranch enthusiests headed all the way to North Solitary Island for some diving at the renowned anenome bay. While the divers taking part in the sea slug census immersed themselves in the small and slug-like the rest of the divers ventured off in search of things much larger. Highlights of the diving was leopard sharks, lots of turtle and a sighting from the surface of the first manta ray of the year for Jetty Dive!
