25th October 2025- Schools of Fish at Cleaner Rock
It was nice to have a bit of space and get out on Mega Wild today as we headed out to the island. The Visiblity was a bit down, but this made for heaps of fish life out and about! Our first dive was at Cleaner Station and the second dive was at Shark Gutters. A couple guys got into Manta Arch, and reported around a dozen GNS! Cleaner Rock was teeming with Fish Life, schools of Bullseys, Pomfrets, SurgeounFish, Tarwhine, and Goatfish filled cleaner rock. There were a few good sized Black Rock Cod, as well as a Queensland Grouper! Shark Gutters had a Green Turtle having a mid arvo snooze, as well as an octopus hiding in the rocks! Red Lined Bubble Shell Nudibranchs were the “macro of the day”!
Congratulations to Lara who finsihed her PADI Open Water Diver COurse today!
