Before the wind picks up for the rest of the week, we got our to finish the weekend off with a bang! Mega Wild got out to South Solitary with a great crew of divers today.

We had a couple of divers finishing up their Open Water Diver Course and some others doing the PADI Advanced Diver Course. Shark Gutters was the pick for the first dive. Some Painted Cray’s were hiding out in the rocks under the mooring. Only a few Grey Nurses were seen, although they were rather big and seemed to be on a mission. Not very curious towards us! Cleaner Rock had a heap of schooling fish again, and again some big Black Cod and a Queensland Grouper. Some cute Nudibranchs and Spanish dancers were also spotted.

The Gantry was the seccond pick of the day. The Advanced Students had their navigation dive, completing the reciprical compass skill, the square compass, and 30 metre kick count. The vis cleaned up a bit on this dive as the current was pushing a bit up hill. Moray Eels, Porcelain Crabs, Blue Grouper, Nudibranchs, and some other macros were seen on this dive.

Congrats to Todd, Jude, Riley, and Tek who all completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course today.
