5TH OCTOBER 2025- Busy Weekend with Good Diving
We are making the most of school holidays and went out for our fourth day in a row to double dive at South Solitary! We had a full boat and some bubbly spirit-ed staff, so the vibeS were high!
Dive one was in and out at Shark Gutters, whereas we got to finish up at The Gantry on our second dive! We had a great range of area to cover at the island today, and the conditions did not disappoint! There was an abundance of Grey Nurse Sharks seen at the Top End today, around 15-20 sitting in the deeper area off of the moorings! In the same family group (Chondrichthyes), Botched Tail Fan Rays and Eagle Rays also curiosuly swam by divers along the boulder wall! There was plenty of different marine life to see hiding inside the wall, such as Cray Fish, Lion Fish, Nudibranchs, schooling bullseyes, Black Cod, and Octopus! Inside of the gap, we saw around 6 (maybe even more) Green Sea Turtles!
Congratulations to Oliver and Doug for completing your PADI Open Water Diver Course! Woohoo
