7th April 2026 – Terrific Tuesday: Leopard Sharks & Clear Seas
We headed out on MegaWild and were pleasantly surprised by the 15–20 m visibility. The water is still nice and warm at 24–25°C.
For our first dive, we descended down to Buchanans Wall and were immediately greeted by leopard sharks, wobbegongs, and turtles. On the second dive, we entered at the Gantry, and everyone made their way toward the gap as the current wasn’t too strong.
We saw even more leopard sharks on this dive, along with plenty of anemone fish among the corals. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the sight of two large octopuses changing colours right next to each other.
Congratulations to Billy and Beau on completing their Open Water course—welcome to the underwater world! We look forward to seeing you again on your next dive adventure.
